Your project stays on this device.

Drawing, preview text, project saving and font export run in your browser. The app keeps your strokes, project name and preview text on your device while creating your font. This version has no login or payment integration.

Opening this site fetches static page resources. Once those resources are loaded, font creation is processed locally. Open Font Hub is a separate website and does not receive your projects.

Site delivery and statistics

Cloudflare hosts this site and provides basic visit and performance statistics, such as page views and loading times. Font creation and editable projects remain in your browser.

Make a backup

Projects are saved in this browser's IndexedDB only after a successful transaction. Browser data can be removed or evicted, and private browsing may not keep it. Download a .lfproject backup whenever you want a portable editable copy.

Editable project capacity

A .lfproject backup has an 8 MiB UTF-8 JSON budget, with separate point and stroke limits. Changes that exceed a limit are rejected before replacing the current draft. This budget does not limit TTF exports or Open Font Hub downloads. Large projects restore before font generation starts; choose Generate preview when ready. Physical-phone performance for large projects is not yet verified.

When saving fails

Your current strokes remain in memory. Retry saving or download a project backup before closing the tab. A corrupt stored project is kept for backup rather than silently overwritten.

Exporting

A TTF download is a local file operation. Exporting does not publish your work in Open Font Hub or grant an open-source license.
